When the regular 1.499 or 1.56 lenses and high index 1.61 lenses are with the same function for the user, 1.61 high index lenses are more useful and better for the good optical performance, meanwhile, it is more thinner and lighter, so the user feel much better in the common life, like working, travelling or doing sports and so on.

In the past, if the people with high and special prescription power, in order to correct the far and near vision problem, also the astigmatism, usually the prescription lenses is thick and heavy because of the refractive limitation, so the user feels very uncomfortable when they wear the kind of glasses, also, the frame selection is limited, lots of modern and stylish frames can't be used.
